A Strange Occurrence at Crown House (2023)

One moment, you are chasing a hot lead on a case. The next, you find yourself inexplicably trapped inside Crown House. It's a strange place that is boarded up from the outside and filled with things from your past. You have the familiar feeling that you have been to Crown House before, but that's about as far as you get with your memories of the place. At first, everything just seems weird and confusing. Then, you find a find a note addressed to you written by someone calling themselves 'the owner' and you begin to panic. The owner tells you that you are trapped inside Crown House indefinitely and that lives are at stake if you don't find a way to escape. You immediately think of your family and frantically begin to try and understand what you need to do to escape the confines of this weird, old mansion. Whoever is holding you hostage inside this place is definitely making it personal. How does any of this connect to the case you were investigating? Will you unravel the threads of this story and come to know the details of A Strange Occurrence at Crown House?

As with all Deadbolt Mystery Society games, you step into the role of the detective. Examining the evidence provided, visiting different locations and using the password protected QR mechanic to uncover the truth.

Players win once they catch the killer, find whats missing or whatever else is needed to solve the case at hand.
